Teteo at Tantísimo

Teteo is our weekly Sunday dance hang — come eat, sip, and move with us.

This is a real social dance space rooted in rhythm, connection, and community. We care about creating an environment where people feel welcome, respected, and free to enjoy the dance floor at their own pace.

All levels are welcome. No partner needed.
Come for the class, stay for the social, or drop in when it feels right.

We ask everyone to help us keep this space fun, comfortable, and community-centered. You can find our Community Agreements below.

About our Tantísimo Connection

Tantísimo is a Nashville staple built around farm-to-table food, craft cocktails, latin culture and community.

More than ten years ago, Kyla used to dance at a salsa restaurant in town, showing up week after week just for the joy of it. Back then, she met a waitress named Ana. Years later, Ana is now a co-owner of Tantísimo — and she reached out to Kyla to start a weekly dance night in this space.

Teteo is a full-circle moment for both of them.
A reminder that community grows when you keep showing up.

Community Agreements

Teteo is meant to be fun, welcoming, and respectful. Thanks for helping us care for the space and each other.

Consent comes first.
Ask before dancing. If someone says no, don’t take it personally and don’t push.

Keep comments respectful.
Please don’t comment on people’s bodies or physical appearance.

Honor the cultures on the floor.
Our dances come from rich cultural traditions. Be curious, not assumptive, and dance with respect.

Respect everyone.
Discriminatory or harmful behavior isn’t welcome here.

Look out for one another.
If something feels off, please speak with an organizer or staff.

Thank you for helping keep Teteo a good place to be

“It was my first time and my cheeks hurt from smiling so much. Some dance spaces can feel intimidating, but Teteo feels like a connected house party.. Plus the empanadas were amazing and the morir soñando was out of this world.”
