Traditional Bachata Nashville is a welcoming home for learning traditional bachata in an accessible, joyful way. Our classes are designed to help every dancer feel confident, capable, and at ease on any dance floor.
We teach social dance with deep respect for the Dominican roots of traditional bachata. Our approach is inspired by the music, movement, and social traditions that shaped this dance, and we aim to honor them with accuracy, humility, and care.
In our classes, we focus on rhythm, presence, and improvisation instead of choreography. Students learn how to feel the music, listen to their partner, and move with ease rather than memorize long patterns.
Our goal is for every dancer to build real social dance skills and feel comfortable and confident in any community space.

Registration for our 6-week Series is now closed, HOWEVER:
This summer we’re bringing the energy of a dance team to your Mondays. ☀️
Over the course of 3 weeks, you’ll learn a fun, fast-paced choreography blending bachata, merengue, and dembow in an environment that feels supportive, challenging, and genuinely exciting. The goal is to recreate that team atmosphere so many of us miss: training together, learning quickly, building confidence, hyping each other up, and creating something as a group.
This is not a long-term commitment or a high-pressure performance team. It’s a chance for adults to step into a high-energy learning environment where you can challenge yourself, try something new, and experience the joy of working toward a shared goal together.
Expect choreography, musicality, performance quality, teamwork, sweat, laughter, and a whole lot of fun. Throughout the series we’ll train and build the piece together, then bring it all to life in a professional video on the final night.
No partner required. All levels welcome. $99. Spots are limited. 💃✨
