6 Week Series March 9 - April 13

$165.00

Mondays • 7:00 to 9:30 PM
$165 • 6 Weeks • Beginner Friendly

While the previous series focused deeply on core basics, rhythm, and grounding, this series expands your movement vocabulary through standard traditional footwork, turns, and transitions commonly used in traditional bachata — many of which also show up across other social dance forms.

You’ll learn how to layer these movements onto the basics you already know, creating clearer pathways, smoother transitions, and more intentional movement around the floor. Classes emphasize practical footwork, directional changes, and partnerwork that support being a clear lead or a light, responsive follow.

Movement drills, partnerwork, and improvisation exercises help you apply these skills in real time, so the dance feels fluid rather than memorized.

A live percussionist is integrated throughout the series to support your understanding of musical phrasing — not just in bachata, but in rhythm more broadly. By learning to feel structure, accents, and transitions in your body, you’ll develop musical awareness that carries across styles and social dance environments.

By the end of the series, you’ll feel more fluent and confident, with a stronger sense of timing, clearer communication with partners, and an expanded movement vocabulary you can trust on any dance floor.

Want to join us for the full journey? Our year-long program includes all remaining four series plus a private lesson. Explore the full-year on the previous page
